This petition has been filed on behalf of the
petitioner wife for transfer of First Appeal No. 407/2008
titled Veneet Bhola v. Pallavi Nagyal Bhola filed pending
before the High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur to the
High Court of Jammu and Kashmir at Jammu.
One of the grounds taken on behalf of the petitioner-
wife in support of transfer is that there is a pending
proceeding under Section 498A of the Code of Criminal
Procedure before the Sessions Court at Jammu.
Having heard the learned counsel for the respective
parties and after perusing the grounds, we allow the
petition for transfer and direct that the above-mentioned
First Appeal, pending before the High Court of Madhya
Pradesh at Jabalpur, be transferred to the High Court of
Jammu and Kashmir at Jammu.
